Nicholas Hawksmoor was born in 1661 and he died March 25 in 1736. He was a British architect subscribed to the baroque style. From 1684 to 1700 he worked on several projects with his teacher Christopher Wren. For example Chelsea Hospital, St. Paul´s Cathedral, Hampton Court Palace and Greenwich Hospital. In honour of the great architect the Nicholas Hawksmoor Primary School is named after him. He designed six of Londons churches.
